SM Tech Maquinados de Precisión ("SM Tech"), based in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, México, is responsible for processing the personal data you provide through this website.

Through the contact form we collect: name, company, email address, phone number (optional), the information you include in your quote request and, where applicable, the PDF files you attach (for example, drawings or specifications).

Attached files are not stored on the website: they are automatically checked for security and sent only by email to our team.

For security, submitting the form processes technical data such as your IP address and the information required for anti-bot verification. We do not collect sensitive personal data; please do not include it in your message.

We use your data to: (a) handle and reply to your request; (b) prepare and send you quotes; (c) follow up on the business relationship arising from your request; and (d) protect the website against abuse and automated submissions.

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

To operate the form we rely on providers that process data solely on our behalf and under our instructions: Cloudflare (website hosting and Turnstile anti-bot verification) and Resend (delivery of the email with your request). Some of these providers may process information outside Mexico.

We do not transfer your data to third parties except as required by law or by a competent authority.

You may request access to, rectification, cancellation of or objection to the processing of your data (ARCO rights under Mexican law), and withdraw your consent, by emailing sergio.marcos@smtechn.com with your name, a way to reply to you, a clear description of your request and, where applicable, documents proving your identity or representation.

We will respond within the time limits set by applicable law.

We keep your data only for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and afterwards for the periods required by applicable law.

This website does not use its own tracking or advertising cookies. Some sections display third-party content (for example, images served from other domains), which may receive your IP address and apply their own privacy policies.

To measure how many people visit the site we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies, builds no profiles and does not identify visitors; we only receive aggregate data such as page views, country and device type.

Any change to this privacy notice will be published on this page, showing the date of the last update.
